Pitch

Our video will be contrasting, with the people dressed up in a classy black-tie way, but have them stranded on a delapitated estate.
There will be a guy and a girl, in the middle of a heated arguement after a night out. It would be filmed very early in the morning as this gives us a nice light, and less crowded streets.
As the song has a male vocalist we are going to film the guy featured in the video miming the song the whole way through in front of various backgrounds which we may feature throughout the video.
The girl will have props to throw at the guy while the argument is going on and as the song finishes abruptly this will coincide with her throwing her dress at him.
There will also be a contrast in the emotions of both the guy and girl. The girl being particuarly over emotional, while the guy remains practically emotionless.
Because of the emotions on the girls face there will be close ups of her crying and screaming, but also longshots are needed to establish their situation and location on the street.

This is the kind of light we are hoping to film in. This picture is also suited because of the deserted station, and we are looking to film on near deserted streets, and have any onlookers to the arguement planned, and added ourselves.

This image is a still taken from the Lily Allen video for LDN. Even though the mood of this video is completely different to ours, the idea of her walking down a dirtyLondon street in a big dress is similar to ours.

This is the album cover for The Streets - A grand dont come for free. This is the kind of area we would like to film in because it creates such a strong sense of difference.

We will use a range of panning, close ups, p.o.v and long shots. This will help is to capture all elements of the argument, and it will help the audience understand the difference between our characters.
With the start of the song and the slow dramatic lyrics there will be a close up of the guys face as he is mining the lyrics(emotionless). There will also be use of profile shots of the couple walking and arguing to show the audience their situation.
Point of view shots will be used so that the audience are shown the girls emotions while being static in the guy's position. and visa versa.

Where possible we will take the lyrics as literally as we can - keeping the mood of video from being too heavy and dark.
We would put a sarcastic slant on the video because the song and lyrics are not completely serious.
