Analysis of Group 35

The camera angles used in this video are simplw yet extremely effective. They've used simple ideas using trolleys, skateboards, and an upside down camera to convey things the way they do. Sometimes this creates slightly blurry, out of focus shots but considering their use of resources I am really impressed.
They edited the shots together really well. Because of the tempo, and genre of music quick paced shots aren't needed meaning that they can use more flowing shots. They could have slowed some of the shots because some of the camera movements are a bit fast, however I think they have used this on some occasions.
The setting is appropriate as it is an empty carpark which is well suited to the lyrics 'Simplicity is all I'm looking for.' I think this is what they must have based the video on because the whole video has a very minimalist, simple feel because the artist is just wearing black, and they've just used one setting which is simple, yet effective.
The performance is good even though it doesnt take much. One problem is that he seems to forget the lyrics quite a bit. This could have enhanced the performance.
The video is very suited to the acoustic, solo style of the piece by the sort of sad, lonely effect that it has. Lonely is featured in the lyrics a few times so they have used this literally by using a lonely place and idea.
